Treetop Quest is a self guided activity, comprised of a combination of treetop obstacles and zip-lines.
Once you are equipped, we will teach you how to operate your equipment and you will be good to swing through each course as many times as you want, for 2.5 hours (according to age limit as indicated below).
You do not have to make a reservation! You can call us 24 hours before your preferred date to see what time is available! Or you can purchase tickets online and reserve your spot.
Children and/or juniors under 18 must be under constant supervision of an adult (participating or non-participating) in the ratio of 1 adult for every 3 participating minors.
Courses available:
Chick’ Pea Accessible to children from 4 to 6 years old with a minimum height of 3’4”. Safety is ensured with a continuous belay system. On ground supervision by an adult is required. |

Level 1: Chirpy on a Branch A discovery course for ages 7 and above with a minimum height of 3’6”. |

Level 2: Swing in the Trees Ideal for family outings for ages 8 and above with a minimum height of 3’9”. |

Level 3: Fly through the Trees A wild and thrilling zip-through experience for ages 8 and above with a minimum height of 4’3”. |

Level 4: Head in the Clouds Higher difficulty, athletic route, also great for families. Ages 12 and above with a minimum height of 4’6”. |

Level 5: Your Place in the Sun The higher it goes, the hotter it gets! Ages 12 and above with a minimum height of 4’6”. |

LEED features include pervious paving, bio-swales, wetlands, and the largest sloping greenroof (40,000-square-foot) in the Southeastern U.S.
The Gwinnett County Environmental & Heritage Center offers a wide variety of programs and recreation for K-12 education, adults, and families including workshops, hikes, facility rentals, and birthday party packages.

Take Exit 115 at Buford Drive (GA Hwy 20) and travel West toward Buford on Buford Drive until you get to Plunkett Rd. Turn left onto Plunkett and continue straight until you get to Clean Water Drive. Turn left onto Clean Water Drive and continue straight until you get to the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center at 2020 Clean Water Drive, Buford.
From I-985
Take Exit 4. Turn onto Buford Drive (GA Hwy 20) and travel East toward Lawrenceville on Buford Drive until you get to Plunkett Rd. Turn right onto Plunkett and continue straight until you get to Clean Water Drive. Turn left onto Clean Water Drive and continue straight until you get to the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center at 2020 Clean Water Drive, Buford.
From Satellite Boulevard
Take Satellite Boulevard North to Woodward Mill Road. Turn Right onto Woodward mill Road. Just after the bridge, Woodward Mill takes a sharp left and becomes Plunkett Road. GEHC Will be on your right just after the sharp left.
