New Physics Program
This high school program is instructed by the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center‘s educators on the courses at Treetop Quest. Students discover the wonders of physics by exploring the science behind our adventure park.
The exciting obstacles and zip lines offer opportunities for students to gain a greater understanding of physical concepts including, but not limited to, speed, acceleration, center of gravity, simple machines, and transformation of energy. Students will never see the world in the same way again after their eyes have been opened to the physics all around them.
GPS/AKS–This program meets the academic standards for Physics and AP Physics.
Thrills in complete security
Children 4 to 6 years old can experience the thrills of Treetop Quest without any safety risks. The Chick’Pea course has a continuous lifeline, a belay system that is impossible to detach without a guide.
Older participants are led through a detailed briefing and practice session by the Treetop Quest guides. Before beginning the course, they ensure all students understand the mechanics, pulley and belay system that is impossible to detach without a guide. Once in the trees, guides will be present on the ground to ensure surveillance and assist students if necessary.
