Scheduling Your Visit

Park address: 16 Alma Street, Greenville SC 29617

Arrival:

Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled start time to check-in and take last-minute restroom breaks. Why is it important? Briefings start every half hour. Arriving at your scheduled briefing time does not leave time to sign waivers, check-in, and take last-minute restroom breaks. If you run late we’ll reschedule you to the next available start time.

Reservations:

  • Advanced reservations must be booked online at least 10 hours in advance.
  • Online reservations save $3 per ticket!

Walking In:

  • We happily accept walk-ins according to availability, however, reservations are highly recommended and especially during peak hours.
  • If you plan to walk-in please call us so we can confirm availability or suggest an alternate time. (864) 907-9539

Policies

The fine print

Treetop Quest wants every guest to have an amazing adventure and we work very hard to ensure everyone leaves happy. When reservations are made we staff the park accordingly and turn away other customers. For those reasons we have the following policies:

Deposits for group reservations (excluding online ticket sales):

A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. You can call to pay by credit card over the phone (864-907-9539),  write a check made payable to Treetop Quest Greenville, or pay in person at the front desk. Upon receipt of your deposit you will receive a confirmation. The remaining balance will be due on your selected adventure date. Please provide a reasonably accurate headcount prior to paying a deposit. Refunds of deposits are not issued due to discrepancies between estimated participation and actual headcount. For this reason, full payment prior to your reservation is highly discouraged.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Online Ticket Sales

All tickets purchased online are final sale. Reservations can be rescheduled (according to availability) at no cost, one time, with at least 24 hours advance notice.

Group Reservations with Paid Deposit

To cancel your reservation you must contact us at least 14 days (2 weeks) in advance; a refund of your deposit can be given minus a $20 processing fee, or you can reschedule your visit (one time, according to availability). Within 14 days of the reservation deposits are non-refundable. Reservations can be rescheduled (according to availability) at no cost, one time, with at least 24 hours advance notice. In the case of an official park closure we’ll work with you to reschedule. Please see our Late Arrivals & No-Show policy.

Late Arrivals & No-Show Policy

Late Arrivals:

If you anticipate a late arrival, please notify park staff immediately.  We will do our best to accommodate you at our next available briefing. Because we reserve a limited number of spots for each briefing, we cannot guarantee availability for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled ticket time without prior notification to the park staff, please note that you will be considered a no-show.

No-Show:

If you fail to appear for your reserved ticket time without notifying park staff 24 hours in advance, please note that your tickets will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Weather Policy

Please keep in mind that Treetop Quest is an outdoor activity. Dress appropriately for the weather and consider applying bug spray and/or sunscreen prior to check-in.

Rain Policy:

Rain adds another level of adventure to Treetop Quest and kids especially love visiting the park in the rain! All courses will remain open through rain, and thus, reservations will not be refunded. Please dress appropriately and prepare for an adventure in our trees… rain or shine!

Potentially dangerous conditions:

In cases of high wind speeds or nearby thunder or lightning, the courses will close until it is safe to resume the activity.

If you are unable to complete your climb due to park closure you may receive a rain check depending on your completed climb time. Unless we notify you otherwise, reservations are still valid and our cancellation/reschedule policy still applies. If we notify you of park closure we will gladly reschedule your reservation at no cost to you.

Management reserves the right to close the park for any conditions which could potentially impact the safety of our clients.

What should I bring ?

  • A copy of your reservation if you made one.

  • A signed waiver. Participating minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Complete these online or we have extra copies at the front desk. -Feel free to bring drinks or snacks. All food and drinks must stay at picnic areas.
  • Take as many photos as you’d like! There are trails underneath the courses for spectators to watch friends and family in the trees.
  • Closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
  • Hair ties for longer hair is required. Rubber bands are provided if you forget to bring your own.
  • Bug spray if you are prone to insect bites.
  • Sunscreen if you prefer, however, the activity is mostly shaded by trees.
  • Parks are pet friendly, with leashes, and attended at all times by an adult.
  • A non-participating adult if you have kids age 4-6 years old. This age requires an adult supervising from the ground for the duration of the activity. Please do not leave your small children unattended. Our staff is here to ensure safety on the courses and cannot do that effectively and look after small children outside of their course activity.

Is it safe ? Is the course regulated and inspected by local authorities?

Treetop Quest built its course in compliance with Standards EN 15567-1 & EN 15567-2. The courses and the trees are inspected annually by a third party inspector and daily by our staff. We use a belay system that is impossible to detach from the lifeline, unless on ground level. Treetop Quest follows all standards provided by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).

      Is the activity guided?

Our activity is self-guided. Everyone attends a briefing to learn about the equipment and then goes through a practice course before starting the activity.

Staff members are stationed on the ground and are present to ensure participants’ safety. If needed, they will go up onto the courses to provide assistance with obstacles or help should a participant wish to stop halfway through the course.

What is the required minimum age?

The Chick Pea course is available to children age 4-6. Safety is ensured by a continuous belay system where the child is constantly attached to the lifeline throughout the course.

However, adult supervision is mandatory (non-participating, free of charge). The age limits for each course are firm rules and cannot be negotiated. We know that each child is different and has different capabilities, however, we cannot make an exceptions. Thank you for understanding!

Do I need to participate with my child?

An adult can opt to remain on the ground if he/she does not want to participate. Children 4-6 years old MUST have one on-ground supervisor for the duration of the activity.

Can I climb with my child?

Definitely! You can share the fun by climbing with your child as young as 7 years old.

Is there a free locker provided?

You can leave your valuables in boxes provided upon request at the park. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle!

Can group visits be organized outside of normal operating hours?

Yes. Reservations must be made in advance to secure your date. Contact us at (864) 907-9539 or greenville@treetopquest.com to reserve.

How high is the course? How long does it take to finish?

Height varies according to the level of difficulty. Level 1 reaches up to 15 feet while level 4 reaches 60 feet. Each course takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Can I do the course if I’m pregnant?

For safety reasons, pregnant women cannot participate.
